More than 160 prospects, over 50 NBA scouts and personnel, and YOU have the chance to be inspired by the hard work and determination necessary to achieve basketball dreams at the fifth-annual NBA Development League Showcase. The Utah Flash will host the league’s marquee event, featuring all 16 NBA D-League teams, at the McKay Events Center in Orem, Utah on January 5-8, 2009.

As the entire NBA D-League descends upon Utah, all players, league employees and NBA personnel will bring their passion for basketball into the arena and the community.

The arena will be vibrant, energized by NBA scouts full of anticipation, fans clamoring to see the NBA’s next star, and players ripe with the desire to showcase their NBA-ready skills.

Every NBA D-League prospect has a shot to make their next jumper fall through an NBA net. Since the inception of the Showcase in 2005, ten players have received NBA call-ups or recalls by NBA teams during or immediately after the event.
