Arclite Theme
Arclite is another clean/light style theme.
Some of its features include the ability to switch between the normal image-based design to a entirely CSS based one (without images), a few background/color variations, fluid layout, optional 3rd column and many more…

Hi, I tried to modify my CSS file and in my Arclite Theme. I tried to restore it and it didn’t change back? Any ideas?

Hi,
Most common explanation would be that the css file is cached by your browser.
Clear your browser cache and check again.
Then, do you have a cache plugin ? If so, then also clear the plugin’s cache.
cheers,
Syl

A nice thing to work on for an update might be a good mobile theme addition. I use Arclite on my site and it works well for me, but when I view it from my phone it just loads the full-size page.
Great theme, though! Also different styles for widget “headers” would be nice…

Hi, I have had to re-install the site due to a hack and now the drop down menus don’t work. I am still using version 1.5.4.

The Arclite theme works fantastic for what I’m using it for – a street rod club. Great job! Keep me posted for updates.

I can edit blog title name and header image, but having trouble changing the blog title color. It’s too light, need it darker.
Thanks.

Hi,
No theme settings for this, sorry; you’ll have to adjust the style.css file.
btw, check your privacy settings, all your links are no follow. Is it on purpose ?

Is there a way to turn drop down menus off?
Alternately, is there a way to create a page that doesn’t show up in the header menu?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Eric,
You can use the “exclude pages” plugin : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exclude-pages/
Next version of the theme will use the custom menu editor of the core WP.

I did send a question but cannot find it here. Really love the temeplate but wanted to change the name of the “Home” tab or link on header to “Devotionals.” Page tabs are so easy to create but I cannot figure out how to change “Home” at all. Thank you so much for your help. I am running 2.9 I think. Sam

Hi Sam,
You’ll have to edit the “header.php” file of the theme.-
For each line, change
There are 2 lines beginning with
<?php _e('Home','arclite'); ?>
to the text you want for homepage. That's it.
Cheers,
Syl
