Dexter Stacey, KH Motorsports set for NASCAR Nationwide series

Kahnawake race car driver Dexter Stacey announced that he will be racing in the NASCAR Nationwide series for the 2013 season in the #92 KH Motorsports car. KH Motossports is a new racing team owned and operated by Kristin Hamlin and will make its debut at the Drive4COPD 300 at the Daytona International Speedway next month in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The race in Daytona will be on February 23. KH Motorsports is planning on running a full 33 race NASCAR Nationwide schedule this season. Stacey made his Nationwide debut last season at Watkins Glen and raced in another six races in the Nationwide Series. His best finish was 24th in Chicago this past September.

Stacey is currently in North Carolina working on securing sponsorships, a manufacturer deal and setting up the KH Motorsports racing team. KH Motorsports has hired veteran David Ingram as their crew chief. Ingram last worked with the #89 Morgan Shepherd for five races in 2011. Ingram has also worked with drivers Michael McDowell, Blake Koch and Dennis Setzer throughout his career.
