Good morning. With new places to explore, new events to experience, and new content to consume, “boredom” is not a word most New Jerseyans are familiar with. The upcoming summer is the perfect example of this: The lineup is jam-packed. Take a trip to “The Center of It All” for one of Carteret’s countless festivals, hit the court and get involved in the Garden State’s pickleball craze, or get ready for the North To Shore Festival — a series of performances, panels, and screenings centered in some of New Jersey’s most iconic cities. Take a deep dive into the history of the Yankees in a new book from Garden State native and sports reporter Jack Curry or raise a glass as you listen to the hit podcast “The Black Wine Guy Experience” from another New Jersey native, MJ Towler. If you’re still bored after all of that, then get out and explore the Garden State — I’m sure you’ll find something that makes you proud to be a New Jerseyan.
