Michelangelo sketch sells for record price

A drawing by the Italian Renaissance artist, Michelangelo, has sold for a record seven-and-a-half million dollars at a New York auction house.

It's the highest price ever paid for a Michelangelo sketch.

The drawing, a black chalk study called Christ and the Woman of Samaria, was part of a series of religious drawings made in the early l550s.

It was sold to an anonymous bidder.
