Dundee United have signed 21-year-old forward Jennison Myrie-Williams from Championship side Bristol City.
The former England U-18 international, who can play in midfield or as a striker, arrives on a two-year deal.
Myrie-Williams is a product of the Bristol City youth academy and has had loan spells with Hereford, Carlisle, Cheltenham and Tranmere.
"I'm excited about this signing and I am sure he will develop into a real talent," said United boss Craig Levein.
"Jennison is a player I've known about and admired for some time and up to about two years ago I would have said he was one of the brightest prospects in the country.
Coming here gives me the chance to play games at a higher level that'll benefit me and the club

"Since then he's lost his way a bit through no real fault of his own and I'm delighted that we've managed to bring him to this club.
"He is a player who will not only excite the fans with his direct, quick running at defences, but he will also add pace to the team and strengthen our options going forward.
"He's still only 21 and I feel we can offer him the type of steady environment where he will now develop and fulfil his early promise."
Myrie-Williams hopes his move to the Scottish Premier League can rekindle his England career after his promising start south of the border stalled.
He told BBC Scotland: "I played at England 18s which was unbelievable and hopefully, coming here I can get back into the England under 21 set up.
"When you're young sometimes your career is a bit stop-start, but coming here gives me the chance to play games at a higher level that'll benefit me and the club, so I'm looking forward to it."
