UBC Library and its employees value belonging. We work to create and sustain an inclusive environment where everyone is respected and welcome. We acknowledge, encourage, and celebrate diverse experiences and perspectives, and are working to identify and address systemic barriers to inclusion. The following policies address the comfort and protection of all persons who study, research and work at UBC Library, both physically and virtually, as well the protection of library materials and property.
- Library Code of Conduct
- Library Food and Drink Policy
- UBC Policy SC14 - Acceptable Use and Security of UBC Electronic Information and Systems
Copyrighted materials are everywhere - you produce them, and you use them, everyday. What you can and can’t do under copyright law is essential knowledge for all UBC faculty, staff and students - both as responsible global citizens, and as responsible teachers, researchers and students. Infringing copyright is a serious matter, but the Library is here to help.
