If you're not from Dublin its hard to understand Joyce. These dramatizations make his work accessible.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Vibrantly entertaining Collection with Top Irish actors

The voices that bring 3 major works by James Joyce to life are those of Andrew Scott & Stephen Rea, with Henry Good man and an assortment of actors who create Dublin street life and indoor scenes in pubs and a brothel. Andrew Scott is
the main narrator of PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST,
Stephen Rea for the stories in DUBLINERS ( discreetly abridged)
with Scott as Stephen Dedalus & Henry Goodman as Bloom& Nieve Cusack as Molly Bloom in the outstanding dramatisation of ULYSSES.
