Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen übernahm das (Ehe-)Wappen des Hans Georg Knott und seiner Frau von 1600, das im Schloss Schlammersdorf erhalten ist. Die Familie Knott saß von 1563 bis 1630 auf einem Teil des seit dem Spätmittelalter geteilten Edelsitzes Schlammersdorf. Das Knott-Familienwappen steht stellvertretend für die vielen Adelsgeschlechter, die seit dem Spätmittelalter Herrschaftsrechte in den vier, auf Gemeindegebiet gelegenen Landsassengütern Schlammersdorf, Ernstfeld, Menzlas und Naslitz ausübten. |
