The context within which I first encountered this topic made it plain that Crowdy was still residing in Maryland, near where he joined the army. It doesn't seem plausible that he'd escaped to (for instance) New York and then come back for this. Tedickey (talk) 00:44, 31 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
