WEST HOLLYWOOD, California -- Just when you thought the Republican Party (or the media blitz for the new Halloween movie) couldn't get any crazier, this happened. GOP troll and graffiti artist SABO (considered the right wing nutjob version of Banksy) vandalized a billboard advertising the 40th anniversary Michael Myers sequel by replacing the William Shatner masked killer with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA, 43rd District) with the Twitter hashtag #UncivilDemocrats.

The advertisement, located at West Hollywood's Pico Boulevard remained intact as of Friday, the film's release date. Water's head is superimposed onto Myers's body, wielding a large butcher knife, as John Carpenter's The Shape is wont to do.

Sabo explained in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the text he added to the advertisement is a reference to Waters telling a crowd in June to make things uncomfortable for "President"* Donald Trump and his Cabinet.

David Gordon Green's direct sequel to the classic Carpenter chiller is expected to make a killing at the box office, to the tune of as much as $70 million domestically.

Halloween, released Friday, stars Jamie Lee Curtis, James Jude Courtney, Nick Castle, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Toby "Artie, the Strongest Man in the World" Huss. It is distributed by Universal Pictures, Blumhouse, Miramax, and Trancas International Films. Stay tuned for a spoiler-free review.
