Summary

Description Flag used by revolutionaries in Chalkidiki peninsula during the Greek War of Independence (1821-1830). It is influenced by Hydra's flag due to the relationship between the local admirals and the island of Hydra, plus a rooster that symbolizes the national awakening and an owl that symbolizes the prudence which is essential for the final victory.
