Pippu is notable for its ski slopes in winter and strawberries in summer.

Mascot[edit]
Pippu's mascot is Snowberry-chan (スノーベリーちゃん) aka Ichigo-chan (いちごちゃん). She is a strawberry who loves skiing.[3]
