On Tuesday, June 18th, RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 winner Nymphia Wind stopped by at the Edie Windsor SAGE Center in Manhattan! Wind gave an extra special performance at SAGE, which is a national advocacy and services organization that advocates for LGBTQ+ elders, at one of their famous intergenerational BBQ parties!
“I’m here at the SAGE Center in Manhattan,” Nymphia Wind says. “It’s important for me to be here today because during Pride month, we want to remember those before us and it’s important to keep them in our hearts and in our minds and know that they are still here and we need to protect and see them and care about them and be with them!”
Wind, who won Drag Race in 2024, was the first East Asian queen to be crowned a winner!
The LGBTQ elders were in awe of Wind’s iconic performance and thrilled to have the chance to dance and party with Drag Race royalty!
