Review

  • When I purchased this movie a couple of years ago it was included with 7 other low-budget zombie films in a compilation called "Extreme Zombies Movie Collection" and I had hoped to find at least one or two passable movies out of the whole bunch. This is one of those movies. Essentially, two software engineers named "Ben" (Teddy Chen Culver) and "Raj" (Shawn Parokh) along with their project manager "Liz" (Christina July Kim) are working on a program which reverses feelings of anger into feelings of happiness. Unfortunately, their boss "Nate" (Jani Blom) is unhappy with their progress so he replaces Ben and Raj with some outside consultants. One thing leads to another and not long afterward the entire building is full of zombies. To make matters worse, the few "normal" people are trapped inside due to a defect within the security system which locks all of the exits. Now, although I am not a big fan of "ZomComs" this one had some good humor, decent acting (for the most part) and the aforementioned Christina July Kim certainly added some nice scenery as well. On the flip side, I should caution viewers that this is an ultra low-budget production and it clearly lacks the technical refinements one might expect for a multi-million dollar project. But for what it's worth, I enjoyed it and I think those who participated in this movie have every reason to be proud of their work. Slightly above average.
