KBC(Kaun Banega Carorepati) was launched for the first time in July,2000. It is a show which provides healthy entertainment and also helps in enhancing knowledge. The show is full of life, enthusiasm,thrill,hope and fun , bringing everyday with it new stories of people of different sect,caste,age, states or profession . Many people are interested to be successful to reach a the 'Hot Seat' and be infront of Super Hero of Millenium Amitabh Bacchan (Big B) and for which they are trying their best day and night . This show gives the audience a great deal of knowledge in every sphere, The questions are simple sometimes and mindboggling after reaching a particular level. The conduct of the show by the Super Star Amitabh Bhachan is simply superb. KBC.. well a great platform for a common man who has bunch of knowledge!! especially it helps financially which is much needed to common man! This season came after a long break! The main thing of this program is that the participants, participating in the program, should give answers within no time in order to get hot seat. Secondly in this program questions on every topic are asked and Amitabh Bachchan creates a suspense when the person sitting on the hot seat gives the correct reply. Over all this is a very nice program from every corner. This time KBC play along had made easy for home viewers and they can win Big prizes from home. No one can Beat KBC and Amitabh Bachan how hard they try to copy it.

KBC is one of the few Indian shows which not only entertains but also tests your knowledge. The show has much fanfare primarily because of the host - Amitabh Bachchan. His very down-to-earth personality and humbleness charms the viewers. Contestants play the quiz to win the prize money worth seven crores, but for them, it presents a lifetime opportunity to meet Amitabh Bachchan in person.

In recent seasons, however, the show displays many personal stories of the contestants, depicting that they belong to diverse backgrounds. Still, those stories exhibit a deliberate endeavor by the producers to boost the TRP ratings.

Interestingly, while the participants try to win the coveted prize worth crores, Amitabh Bachchan himself bags about 3.5 crores per episode.

Overall, the show is a good entertainer only if you skip the fluff and watch the main parts of the show directly.

The show has audiences glued to their TV screens every weeknight for months... It made one person a crorepati.. it also sparked off several such TV shows which dole out prizes which have to have "the crore sound" As of now, no other TV show has been able to challenge it.

I came here to use this review area in order to suggest. I am a South Indian. KBC Tamil was discontinued long back though it has good TRP. I write this on behalf of all the fans of this show. I kindly suggest the team of KBC India to launch the show in Tamil Nadu too. I really don't know whether it will reach the person/team who is responsible for all this. Just using the website, I deliever our concern. We have watched all the available episodes in tamil since we consider this particular program as a combo of entertainment along with knowledge.

I observed the candidates who have profile like teacher always get way easier questions than other candidates who are into some technical or management profession which i feel biased. Atleast initial questions can be of same level of difficulty.

Information for sure but too much unnecessary drama as Amitab sir is being too predictable when trying to create the suspense after the right answers and too much unnecessary information about the players with their family videos and stuff.

I remember vividly when the first season of the show started. It was fantastic. The questions came from a wide variety of genre and thus really tested a contestant's overall knowledge.

The host, Amitabh, was very charming and used to engage in light-hearted conversation with the contestants, most of whom were big fans of his. The contestants would request him to recite a dialogue from his movies or narrate their experience of watching his movies. They would also joke about how they would use their prize money, with some planning to produce their own movies while others intending to buy a house next to Amitabh's.

However, over the years all these great aspects of the show have been slowly disappearing and the show becoming increasingly jingoistic. The current season can hardly be called a game show. It is more of a socio-political forum. The majority of the questions are either about Indian politics or Indian sports.

The contestants and Amitabh talk about nothing but their country and how the prize money is going to be used for the greater good. Unless you are a hardcore Indian nationalist, don't bother watching this show.

since last year the run-time hasn't been increased significantly but the ads make it at least one and a half hour show original run-time is approx is 45 minutes, they run ads for at least 10 minutes and at most 15 minutes. quality of questions are always low, always like the creator of this show has some political agenda. you will never find an unemployed contestant. very disappointed and jiochat wow, what a serious scam that is. that is on whole another level.

Useless show even the first 5 cr winner suffered stay away .....only one person will be benefitted ....

Simply boring.. nowadays its becoming more n more boring so just stop this show

Let's stop promoting them! When they can't support true talent and act spineless why should they be supported. Highly NOT recommended let's put an end to these vultures. They killed a motherless child. 😔

Maximum time is focused on unnecessary talks. It should be a talk show rather than a quiz show. Same anchor since ages with very predictable acting. They need to change their anchor if they want the show to survive.

To win big in kbc you have to be as less educated as possible. Because they will ask questions as per your standards not as per their standards. Total bakwas. Bigger the sob story bigger your win. Long ago lost interest.

I did watch this program. It looks like you are trying to help people but with wrong way.

You are spending more money on the host than the real needed people.

All the show to make people crorepati is vague.

Think differently if you really want to help else this show is Bullshit.

This is the Indian adaptation of "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire", the illustrious British-American game-show media franchise.

It's nothing like the two I mentioned. So, a quick comparison to give you somewhat of a glimpse to what exactly are the differences between the O.G. and the Indian version.

• Rules simpler

Rules are simplified; rules such as 'stocking remaining time' and 'Plus One' are short lived or removed, probably due to ads not fitting in time-slot.

• Host marketing

Heavy marketing of Amitabh Bachchan (legendary Bollywood actor) in show indents, compared to the contestants.

The positives of Kaun Banega Crorepati :

• the "threshold" system more fine-tuned
• Somewhat charismatic feel
• Contestants somewhat diverse (even though it's a TRP exhibit half the time)

The negatives :

• Too much time given to advertisements
• Contestant sob stories over-glorified
• Unnecessary sponsor tie-ins
• Lifelines are predictable as they're extremely effective almost every daggum time

Score : 9/20 Thoughts : It's not painful or unwatchable, but not a recommendation. Watch the American or British version for a better version of the same concept.

This is one of the pathetic shows ever run by sony tv just because it run by a greedy old man who just want more money. This show should be banned as he makes a fool of public for his lust for money.

Options 1) Nigeria 2) Bangladesh 3) Indonesia 4) Brazil As per me the correct answer is "Bangladesh", ie Indo-Gangetic Delta of River Brahmaputra, River Ganges and River Meghna, covering more than 10,000 sq km of Sunderban forest having some of the endangered species of the planet. It is UNESCO World Heritage Site because of it's bio-diversity. The same is confirmed by Google also

But Mr Amitabh Bachchan gave the answer as Indonesia
