Support for families
We work with all types of families. We can tailor our help and support to meet the diverse needs of you and your family members.
Support for when you feel unsafe
Contact us if someone is making you feel unsafe in a relationship or at home, or if you have experienced family violence or controlling behaviour. We are here to help before problems get worse.
Support for children and young people
The Orange Door can help you if you are a child or young person and feel unsafe at home, if someone close to you is hurting you, or if you are worried about the safety of a friend or family member.
Support for people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
We provide a culturally safe service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who can choose to be supported by an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCO) worker.
Support for someone you know
If you are worried about someone who may be experiencing family violence, there are some simple things you can do. Your support could make a big difference.
Support for people using family violence who want to change their behaviour
Help and support is available for people who use abusive or controlling behaviour at home or in a relationship. The Orange Door works with all people who use or are at risk of using family violence.
The Orange Door acknowledges Aboriginal Traditional Owners of Country throughout Victoria and pays respect to their cultures and Elders past and present.
People of any age, gender, sex, sexuality, culture, religion and ability are welcome at The Orange Door.
