Society for California Archaeology
Join the Society for California Archaeology as we gather at King Gillette Ranch near Calabasas for the 2024 Southern Data Sharing Meeting.
The meeting will be an informal event with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere—perfect for students to practice presenting as well as an opportunity to meet and talk with professionals in California Archaeology in a fun and casual setting. Students are not required to be current SCA members.
Saturday, September 21st
Data Sharing: The official data sharing meeting begins around 10am in the morning with presentations in the auditorium at King Gillette Ranch with lunch served at the break.
Sunday, September 22nd
Post-event: Site Stewardship Heritage Hike to the M.A.S.H site at Malibu Creek SP on Sunday. Hike will take approximately 4 hours and will be led by Beth Padon, California Archaeological Site Stewardship Program (CASSP).
