1,903 candidates take CET 2023

Coimbatore: The Common Eligibility Test- 2023 (CET 2023) for admission to the MPhil/PhD programmes in Bharathiar University was held on Sunday.
According to official sources, over 4,000 applications were received for the examination in arts and science disciplines, of which, 2,199 eligible candidates were accepted. Out of the 2,199 applicants, 1,903 or 86.5% took the exam.
The exam was held in seven centres, with one centre each in Ooty, Erode, Tirupur, and Pollachi, and Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Hindusthan College of Arts and Science and Bishop Appasamy College in Coimbatore city.
BU vice-chancellor committee members F X Lovelina Little Flower and C A Vasuki, university registrar M Murugavel, controller of examination S Vijayaraghavan and a team of syndicate members inspected the examination centres. The results will be published on the BU website, exam coordinator Parimelazagan said.TNN
