Sikkim Lok Sabha Results Live: Sikkim, a state in northeastern India, has a single seat in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. Among the key contenders vying for the Sikkim seat were the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, Sikkim Democratic Front, BJP, and INC.
The state's geographical position often leads to the prominence of regional political parties in its electoral landscape.
According to the Election Commission of India website, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha's won with a margin of 80830 votes against Citizen Action Party-Sikkim’s Bharat Basnett.
Congress has fielded Gopal Chettri for the Sikkim seat while BJP’s candidate is Dinesh Chandra Nepal.
The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha nominated the incumbent MP, Indra Hang Subba, who secured victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, defeating Prem Das Rai of the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF).
Sikkim held its elections in a single phase on April 19, with the vote counting scheduled for June 4.


According to the Axis My India exit poll, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha was expected to secure victory in Sikkim's sole parliamentary constituency. The state witnessed a voter turnout of 79.88%.
In the previous general elections held in 2019, Indra Hang Subba of the SKM emerged victorious, securing a vote share of 47.46%. Dek Bahadur Katwal of the SDF finished as the runner-up, garnering 43.92% of the votes.
