Jamshedpur: The state school education minister Ramdas Soren on Wednesday said that the govt is working on making the administration active at the ground level. He added that the state is keen on filling up vacant posts from the block level to the higher ups, aiming to make the administration active in the implementation of schemes.
He was speaking at a programme organised to hand job letters to 224 newly appointed chowkidars (watchman) in East Singhbhum district. The minister stated that providing jobs to educated youths and empowerment of women is the primary concern of the govt and it is working on that direction.
"The govt is dedicated to usher in development at gram panchayat and block level. Fulfilling the basic needs of the people are at the centre of the schemes and projects being designed by the govt," Ramdas said.
Appreciating the new batch of chowkidars on receiving the appointment letters, Jamshedpur (West) MLA Saryu Roy said that he is hopeful that the new appointees would sincerely work and give their best in the efficient functioning of the system at the lower level. Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty and Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar motivated the new guards and urged them to give their 100 percent.
