NEW DELHI: In a clear indication of how food processing and consumer affairs ministries have switched gears to fulfil PM Modi's vision, the two ministers concerned on Tuesday said they will chart the 100-day plans.
After taking charge of consumer affairs ministry,
Prahlad Joshi said, "I am grateful to PM for giving me the opportunity to serve in this ministry that is directly related to serving 80 crore Indians."
He said his priority will be to implement planned activities in the first 100 days of govt.
LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan, who took charge of food processing industries ministry, said, "There is huge potential in the food processing sector to benefit farmers. The 100-day plans will be ready after discussion with officials."
