NEW DELHI: Kaushalendra Kumar of the Janata Dal (United) party won with 5,59,422 votes, a margin of 1,69,114 votes over the runner-up. Dr. Sandeep Saurav of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) came in second place with 3,90,308 votes, falling short by 1,69,114 votes.
The remaining candidates, including independents and those from various other parties, received significantly fewer votes.

Sudhir Kumar of the Sanyukt Kisan Vikas Party secured 25,291 votes, while Surendra Prasad of the Al-Hind Party obtained 18,576 votes. Shashi Kumar of the Samaj Shakti Party received 18,480 votes, and Pramod Kumar Nirala of the Bahujan Samaj Party got 15,332 votes.
Other candidates, such as Ajeet Kumar (Independent), Vinay Pratap Singh (Rashtriya Sanatan Party), Sanjay Rajesh (Karpoori Janta Dal), and Sudhir Das (Independent), received votes ranging from 14,750 to 6,806.
The NOTA (None of the Above) option received 19,217 votes.
The Nalanda Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar comprises seven Assembly segments: Asthawan, Biharsharif, Rajgir (SC), Islampur, Hilsa, Nalanda, and Harnaut.
