Quick
Start System
The
Quick Start System teaches students and teachers how to use Perseus
through hands on, step-by-step instruction. Each Quick Start
assignment addresses a specific component of Perseus so
you learn how to use each component quickly and thoroughly. Quick
Start assignments teach computer skills, Perseus skills
and research skills. When students use the Quick Start Systems
independently, no valuable class time is lost to computer-use
instruction or program orientation since they learn on their
own. No computer experience is necessary to begin.

Please note: When using the Quick
Start System with the cross-platform version of Perseus,
you should ignore instructions asking you to use the "Go
Back" arrow. There is no "Go Back" arrow in the
cross-platform version, instead you will move between open windows
on your desktop. To help you save paper, all materials are formatted
to print double sided.
