The Air Force’s most advanced weapon system is ready for combat, Air Force officials here announced Dec. 15.

A new initiative is underway to expand the capacity of child care spaces throughout Air Combat Command.

This year’s holiday season marks the 4th year of combat operations for the United States in the Global War on Terrorism … from fighting terrorists abroad while defending our freedom at home, to executing disaster relief for thousands of our citizens, I’m proud of the job you do as ACC Airmen to defend and sustain our great nation.

Currently, 40 Airmen from Davis-Monthan are making a significant impact in the lives of 55 youth through the Youth Detention Center Mentoring Program.

The Air Combat Command dining facilities at Langley and Mountain Home Air Force Bases stood above the rest by demonstrating to evaluators they’re ready to compete in the Air Force’s 50th Anniversary of the Hennessy Awards.

The exercise Operation Dynamic Weasel will take place here Dec. 2 and will involve aircraft from multiple bases and first-time challenges.

The 55th Wing distinguished itself as the winner of the Air Combat Command Clements McMullen Memorial Daedalian Weapon System Maintenance Trophy and will go on to represent ACC at the Air Force level competition.
