Viewing the maps with the plug-in
A plug-in can be downloaded to improve viewing of images:
Click on the 'View with plug-in' button
Follow the Click here to Download Plugin option
Follow the instructions to download the plug-in and install it
Once it is installed, choose the 'View with plug-in' option on each map
The benefits of the Plug-in are:
easier zooming and panning the map image
the ability to rotate the map image within the map window
a 'View in Frame' option with additional functions, such as zooming in on a user-defined rectangle
an Image Properties box with a preview window for orientation, showing the area of the main image displayed
These options are all available in the plug-in version by RIGHT clicking with the mouse
