The Kingdom of Tonga: Online Tour
Entertainment

Resorts, hotels and guesthouses offer dance shows which perform traditional dances of Tonga and the South Pacific, such as this Hula.

Entertainment comes in many forms in Tonga. The Tonga National Centre, Dateline Hotel, and resorts such as The Good Samaritan and Nawaiali'i offer feasts, dance shows and kava ceremonies for $25-30pp. The most popular night for bars and nightclubs is Friday.

Tonga now has a twin-cinema where you can see films you may not see anywhere else, and others oddly before (and after) the time you'd see them anywhere else. Karaoke is popular too, and quite a few bars offer it.

You'll find great restaurants on Tongatapu and Vava'u. The Sea View and Waterfront Cafe on Tongatapu are great places to eat out. For lunch try Friend's Cafe, Cafe Escape or Akiko's (quality food at a great price).
