Britney Spears has gotten one thing right. According to PEOPLE, Spears' lawyer has reported that she has passed several of her court-ordered drug tests.

The Los Angeles court has ordered Britney to appear at an L.A. police station to be booked for her August 6 hit-and-run. She'll be fingerprinted and have her mug shot taken, completing the 2007 mug shot trifecta: Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and now, Britney!

Britney's record label has decided to release her new album, aptly titled 'Blackout,' earlier then expected. Due to a number of "unauthorized on-line leaks," Jive decided to push the release date up to October 30.

According to the Sun, Spears' father Jamie is taking steps to organize an intervention to get his daughter into therapy. He expressed concern about the state of her finances and is worried that her lavish spending habits will cause more drama in the fallen star's life.

MySpace phenomenon Tila Tequila had a monumental Tuesday. That day marked the release of her second single, 'Stripper Friends,' and the debut of her MTV reality series, 'A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila.'

'Friends,' the follow-up to her Lil Jon-produced single 'I Love You,' is another track to be included on her as-yet-unreleased album. The new song, essentially a sexed-up version of Kevin Michael's 'We All Want the Same Thing,' showcases suggestive lyrics, sexy sighs and Tequila's raw signature style. Sources close to Michael Jackson tell Fox News that the former King of Pop has been diagnosed with lupus. It had previously been rumored that Jackson's nanny, Grace Rwaramba, was suffering from the disease.

Lupus is a chronic auto-immune disease that causes the body's immune system to attack healthy cells. The heart, joints, skin, lungs, blood vessels, liver, kidneys and nervous system are the disease's most common targets, but any area of the body can be affected. There is no known cure, but symptoms are treatable with steroids and immunosuppressants.

Jackson's health (both physical and otherwise) has been a point of debate for decades. In 1993, he lashed out at accusations that he had chemically lightened his skin, attributing his noticeably paler tone to the pigmentation disease vitiligo. "I have a skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of my skin, it's something that I cannot help," Jackson told Oprah Winfrey.

Country duo Van Zant doesn't mind if you yell "Free Bird!" at one of their shows. Brothers Donnie and Johnny Van Zant are proud of their musical heritage, hailing from one of rock 'n' roll's most famous families and from two of rock's most iconic bands: Lynyrd Skynyrd and .38 Special. The brothers have just released their second country album under the Van Zant name, 'My Kind of Country.' They recently sat down with AOL Music to talk about the new project ... and ended up breaking all the rules -- talking religion, politics and (gasp!) standing up for the Dixie Chicks.

What would you say are the biggest differences between your new album, My Kind of Country' and your first country album, 'Get Right With the Man'?

Donnie: Recording-wise, there's really not that much difference. What we were concerned about more than anything was just going in and having fun.

Johnny: But of course we wanted it to be a little different. We didn't want people to spend their hard-earned dollar and get the same record. But we do stick to what we know. What we're singing about is what we feel. And we wanted every song to be something for somebody . . . for them to be able to put themselves into it. To me, making a CD is like writing a book.

Donnie: It's stuff that we've either lived ourselves or watched someone else go through. Because in songwriting when you just make up stuff, it don't fly.

Now that he's finished running his victory lap around 50 Cent, Kanye West will launch his own line of jewelry. The 30-year-old rapper has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, the same person responsible for West's 'Graduation' album cover art, to create a jewelry collection that West says "will be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds."

West previewed a piece from his forthcoming line by donning a gold, Manga-style diamond pendant at the Givenchy Spring/Summer fashion show in Paris last week. No release date for the collection has been set.

Just a few days after losing her kids, Britney Spears had a visit from her own mommy. Britney's estranged mother, Lynne Spears, flew to Los Angeles with Jamie Lynn, Brit's younger sister. In the early morning, the pair drove to Britney's new Malibu home, where it's been reported that an intense intervention ensued, and Brit-Brit stormed out. Mother and daughter have had a strained relationship since Britney personally delivered Lynne an upsetting letter, ordering her to stay away from Britney's children.

Britney's been receiving a plethora of unsolicited advice from fellow celebrities. The most recent tidbit comes from Dr. Phil, who said, "Maybe she needs to be involuntarily committed." Joey Fatone and Elton John have both offered the troubled mother a place to recover. The former boy band heartthrob said, "Come over to my house and my wife'll whip her into shape."'30 Rock' funnyman Tracy Morgan advises the star to seek a higher power, telling PEOPLE, "Britney needs to pray." Comedian Kathy Griffin told TMZ that Brit's problem is at the roots: "I'd like her just to wash her hair."

Foxy Brown announced Thursday that she's launched a new official web site, FreeFoxyBrown.com, in order to keep in contact with her fans while she serves her time in the slammer. The incarcerated rapper was sentenced to one year in jail in September for violating probation. Brown, whose real name is Ingrid Marchand, was on probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from an altercation with two manicurists in August 2004. The rapper continued her run of bad behavior and was arrested in February 2007 after allegedly throwing a bottle of hair glue at an employee in a Florida beauty salon. She was indicted on assault charges in August 2007 for allegedly throwing her cell phone at her neighbor in Brooklyn.

Despite her legal woes -- and rumors that she was three months pregnant at the time of her hearing -- Brown has been in relatively good spirits. "This is just a temporary situation," Brown said following her sentencing. "I made my bed and have no problem lying in it. My will is steady. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger. I think there are greater injustices in that require our immediate attention, like what's going on in Jena, Louisiana. I will not surrender, I'm fine, free Jena Six!"
