Wii v3.1 Includes Keyboard Support

Plus, a new version of Wii's Opera brower to support keyboards

Nintendo released Version 3.1 of the Wii system firmware today. The main addition in this version is USB keyboard support. The Everybody Votes channel has also been updated, adding keyboard functionality appropriately enough.

A new version of the Opera browser for Wii is now available as well, and it also has keyboard-specific features. This updated browser has a "send to a friend" option for, well, sending friends links in Wii messages. Other new options include copy-and-paste mechanics, nine new favorites slots, and the ability to use the Wii Remote B button as a shift key.
