Megatonik has put together a great list, chock full of release dates and goodies, or what's left in store for the rest of this year. Chances are once these games start dropping, you're not going to have much left in your wallet for the holidays. So it's time to start figuring out where you're going to get that cash from and get your game on.

I don't need two kidneys anyway, the left one always slacks off, watches reruns of the office and eats all my pringles.

Well you can always sell your right eye for a bunch of yu-gi-oh cards
Here is what is coming out.
Wii: 4
PS3: 11
Xbox: 9
PSP: 3
DS: 3
I would really like to try mass effect... maybe I'll swap PS3 with 360 with someone for that game.
I'm finally getting my 360 back Monday...then I can finish Halo 3 and Eternal Sonata.
"RROD sku" lolz...yeah thats clever.
Think about how pathetic your ps3 is doing compared the Wii and the 360 despite RRoD and then let me see you laugh.
It's kind of funny. I'm in love with and surprised by the quality of the gameplay. The graphics are pretty good, running at the higher settings offered on Windows XP, but compared to UT 3 which looks nearly as beautiful with 3 times the framerate, it seems needlessly bloated.

I just added it all into my cart on amazon. Gears of War, Unreal 3, Crysis, Hellgate: London, Guitar Hero III. November is a great month to have a birthday this year.
UT3 features an excessive amount of bloom, DoF and other over-the-top that seem to come as standard with unreal engine 3 games.
Crysis however features massive amounts of subtle effects, super realistic post processing and amazing animation that really takes the cake for me.
Dont get me wrong, UT3 is going to be the better game by far, but crysis will hold the "sexiest graphics" award for an unfortunately looong time to come.
But yeah, props for appreciating Unreal. A singleplayer trailer is up today, too. It looks surprisingly awesome; Epic learned a lot making Gears, and I'm sure the singleplayer for Unreal will take it even farther-- regardless of if I'd have fronted 50$ regardless of its existence.
Back on Topic: I'm personally looking forward to Haze. It might actually make me buy a PS3 if it doesn't come out for PC.
The art direction of UT3 may be better, but the Crysis engine is superior on a more tangible level.
Crysis might look like Far Cry but at least I didn't play Far Cry last year like I did GoW. Crysis FTW.
That said, even though I'm buying it on release day, I'm not playing the singleplayer campaign until I've bought my new machine. (nVidia, hurry up with your next generation cards, will y'a?)
Did you upgrade to the new Nvidia Beta drivers? I'm running it at 1280x1024 resolution with everything on and 4xFSAA and getting 50fps average with the same card. You on Vista or XP? I have a feeling the DX10 makes a huge difference in Crysis. DX10 is meant to put more on the screen with fewer resources.
What exactly does Unreal Tournament 3 bring to the table thats new again?

"Cevat Yerli: We support both 64-bit and multi-cores. Multi-core will be beneficial in the experience, particularly in faster but also smoother framerates. 64-bit and higher memory will yield quicker loading times. We recommend quad core over higher clock."

OK that was a little gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Especially in japan, where most things are cute, the stereotype is hard gay who looks like an exhibitionist S&M; goth.
(PS - I'm buying it on launch day)
Jury is still out on other games. Orange Box is pretty much the best slice of "real" gaming I'll be having for a while whilst the Wii gives me console games.
Still need to buy Super Metroid too. I hear it's very very good.
Nevermind anyway, i'll just add 3-4 months onto each one ยฌ_ยฌ.

It is essentially Christmas NiGHTS 2, because of the release date
I know, i'm obsessing, but we have to support these colorful games, they're so rare now...

I'll be buying it and I'm glad it's colorful. Too many games are brown and gray. I prefer my games to be all shiny and happy looking, anyway. Between Super Mario Galaxy, NiGHTS and Zack & Wiki, it's like a color overload this Christmas.
And speaking of which, that list left off Zack & Wiki, which is a travesty. This and Portal are serious dark horse candidates for Game of the Year.
I mean, Cooking Mama: Cook Off was colorful, and so was Sonic the Hedgehog 2006
I'm just tired of seeing every single big game be composed of all these washed-out tones, Halo 3 could be considered colorful compared to, say, Gears of War

I'm biding my time using my DS and FFIII and Advance Wars DS. Its painful but I guess I could go back to last gen and N64 and complete the games.
(as for me, I can't even afford most of the consoles, so I'm stuck with DS and PC games. (likely only orange box for PC though, because of sheer value.)
Even so, planning to get the Wii. I've a LOT of Gamecube games to catch up with, which should be more than enough to last through the likely summer drought of next year.
A much shorter list.

Also i'm looking forward to assasins creed after seeing a few gameplay walkthroughs. While it still seems to have its issues (only one guy attacks you at a time), and its certain to have its obvious gameplay flaws because of how different the gameplay is (i wager you can do the entire game just by running away 1 foot in front of the massive army of guards behind you...seriously...i bet its doable), that game still looks really polished in its animation and style and i'm actually looking forward to it...despite having argued for the past year to my friends that it just looks like thief 3 + melee + HDTV.
Oh well, should be a pretty good end to the year, but mostly my PC is getting the attention tbh. I've given up on console gaming a little bit since i just sold my PS3 (worst purchase i ever made) and my 360 just popped a RROD >.
