Embarrassment holds few back from maid cafes

I can’t say I want to go to a maid cafe, if the video below is anything to go by! Today is a double dose of silly survey Sunday, with this very short and sweet (just like the maids…) survey on maid cafes.

Demographics

Between the 25th and 27th of June 2008 441 members of the CLUB BBQ free email forwarding service completed an internet-based questionnaire. 55.1% of the sample were male, 14.7% in their twenties, 48.8% in their thirties, 25.9% in their forties, and 10.7% of other ages.

      after watching that video, my impression of maid cafes is that its a place for uber geeks that have problems talking to real girls and so they have this fantasy world they go to where they can act out their fetish of being the “sex commando”, man, I feel really slimy for some reason, and I like ogling women, but this…. man. I need to go to a maid cafe to see how it really is.

      I, too, need to visit several maid cafes now to get an idea of the feelings I feel for this… article.

      But actually, ten times worse than these places are the sleazy, frankly dangerous-feeling Can Cafe clubs around Tokyo.
