NEW DELHI, India (AP) -- Witnesses say at least one explosion has hit a central New Delhi shopping area, wounding several people.

Police spokesman Rajan Bhagat says he has received unconfirmed reports of three other explosions Saturday in New Delhi markets and police are investigating.

Bhagat says it was not immediately clear what caused the explosions, and the number of casualties is not known.
