About This Game

Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free, and with the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness.

For Nintendo's long-awaited Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the designers have split the game into two versions -- one for GameCube, and one specially designed to make use of the Wii utilizing the powers of the Wii controller for all-new ways of exploring Hyrule.

Ganondorf (Legend of Zelda)
Link has been fighting back against the evil forces of Ganon since 1987, but it wasn't until the arrival of Ocarina of Time that the pig-man wizard first appeared in a more human form. Ganondorf is the seemingly unkillable central villain of the Legend of Zelda series, and Nintendo has few characters more iconically evil than him.

Link (Legend of Zelda)
Princess Zelda may get top billing, but everyone remembers the silent green elf when they think of the classic Legend of Zelda series.

Legend of Zelda games have appeared on NES, SNES, CD-i, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Nintendo 64. Link has also appeared in Super Smash Bros.

Midna
A diminuitive denizen of the Twilight Realm, Midna is the impish, shadowy sidekick to Link throughout the events of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Players first meet her in prison, after Link is forcibly transformed into a wolf, captured and thrown in jail by Zant's minions.

General Features
  • When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna.
  • The Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controllers are used for a variety of game activities, including fishing, sword attacks and projectile-weapon aiming.
  • Players ride into battle against troops of foul creatures and wield a sword and shield with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed.
  • Many puzzles stand between Link and the fulfillment of his quest, so players must sharpen their wits as they hunt for weapons and items.
