I have just recently started watching the program and am trying to catch up, viewing episodes from previous seasons. I am hooked!

Being a Rehabilitation Counselor by trade I tend to look for the character's sincerity, vulnerability, and emotional depth. I also tend to watch for accuracy of medical terms and diagnoses, portrayal of mental illnesses and affect. This show is incredible because it offers all that and much more!

For me, the most compelling, intelligent, intuitive, sensitive and quite frankly, down right sexiest character, is Detective Robert Goren. Vincent D'Onofrio is absolutely fantastic in this role!

The producers of this show should be applauded. I hope the show lasts another 7 seasons.
