Apparently, the DT7 project - which is the replacement for the Cadillac STS and Cadillac DTS - has been delayed (again) an additional six months due to financial constraints - and will not be introduced until the middle of 2011 as a 2012 model year vehicle. It will be sized similar to the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7-Series cars, with an abundance of rear leg room - but will compare more dynamically with the Audi A8. It’ll feature more technology than either the STS or DTS - and will be sportier as well. Cadillac realizes it’ll lose some of the DTS buyers until the Supersedan arrives a year or two later. The Supersedan will be the actual S-Class and 7-Series competitor. Read more
2009 Cadillac XLR a Refresh or Redesign?

According to a new report, we’ll be seeing a Cadillac XLR with at least some minor exterior changes in July. The vehicle is do for at least a refreshening. However, reports also indicate a possibility of a new “launch”. In other words, an entirely new design “reveal” that would not be available for at least 8 months or so afterwards. Either way, it’ll be exciting to see Cadillac more forward with it’s sporty, luxurious roadster. Read more
