Activision has revealed that a new entry in its James Bond game franchise has been delayed to 2010. This announcement was made by Activision CFO Thomas Tipple in a conference call with investors today.

The upcoming Beatles game from Rock Band studio Harmonix will follow the Fab Four through different periods in their career, according to Paul McCartney himself. Sounds like we're in for a wild ride of good music and overgrown moptops.

Now we've got a release window for the next iteration in the Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 2. Activision Blizzard has revealed, in their fourth quarter financial conference call on Wednesday, that the game will be due this holiday season.

It's no secret that the Wii is where mini-games go to breed. Sega is trying to give it some oomph (ie, blood) with House of the Dead: Overkill, but when it comes to hardcore family fun, the game to watch out for is Overlord: Dark Legend.
