DragonballGames and movies, will they ever be seen under the same light? For the new Dragonball: Evolution game for the PSP, at least, maybe not. Then again, that's a different matter altogether... Enter EA CEO John Riccitiello talking about video games as an art form - he thinks that within five years, the game industry may prove every one wrong, that games do have the potential to be considered just as impressive as movies and books.

Tales of Vesperia - Image 1Here we have a breakdown of the Top 100 games that sold in Japan during 2008. The list was published by Enterbrain earlier this month, and now also appears on this week's Famitsu issue. Mostly dominated by Nintendo titles, the list still has some noteable Sony games somewhere near the top too (surprise, surprise, MHP 2nd G reigns king, as always). Meanwhile, the 360 is... well, at least it's represented, care of Tales of Vesperia... and *only* Tales of Vesperia. Yeah, right down at #82.

EA shrugs off Forbes Rock Band plagiarism accusation - Image 1Forbes recently accused Rock Band of being a "shameless knockoff" of Guitar Hero, only with added peripherals. Shame on you, Forbes. You know how much the truth hurts. EA responded to the accusation with a very firm no comment statement.

Irony in the full article.

Mini Ninjas - Image 1IO Interactive has quite the pedigree when it comes to action titles: The Hitman series. Freedom Fighters. Kane & Lynch. So how does a cutesy little game like Mini Ninjas fit into the equation? I have no idea. The only reason I can think of is, well, everybody loves ninjas. Except maybe pirates.

Fragile:Farewell Moon to the Ruins - Image 1 After that dramatic Japanese trailer we saw last week for Namco Bandai's Fragile: Farewell Ruins to the Moon, now it's time to check out some stills via this new batch of screenshots. It doesn't really show much, save for a reiteration of the abandoned building scenery we found in the trailer. Check them out after the jump.

According to the ratings board, Saint, Dragon Master Spell Caster, and Texas Hold 'Em are gracing your white console soon.
