COOK ISLANDS COMMUNITY JOIN WORLD CLEAN UP
 
The Cook Islands community is again encouraged to volutantarily join the annual Clean Up The World campaign this week.

According to the National Environment Services local activities include cleaning streams and waterways and collecting and seperating waste.

People have also been encouraged to clean their own properties and public areas.

Schools have been invited to take part in the events.

Come Saturday will be the annual Avarua Harbour clean up when divers volunteer to rid the water of all kinds of waste including plastics and cigarette buds.
