Owen Kelly a JR Motorsports development driver, pulled off the upset with six laps left in the season finale for the late model stock cars, known as the Mid-Atlantic Championship after Deiny and York dominated the race and both tangled with less than thirty laps to go in the race.
KBIII climbed an impressive 22 positions in only 12 laps when he was slammed hard into the outside by the No. 25, the first of many victims of a right-side tire explosion. KBIII was treated and released from infield care and scored in the 36th position for the ARCA RE/MAX 250.

Rich Hatton and Mel Auckerman’s battle for the Fever 4 championship came down to the final laps of the division’s main event during the season finale of Wednesday Night Fever at Stateline Speedway. Auckerman won the race but Hatton finished second to win the title by only two points.
