The second event that will be featured is the inaugural World of Outlaws race from Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri that was held on September 14, in which Jac Haudenschild and Craig Dollansky traded the lead five times over the course of the 35-lap contest, with Haudenschild coming out on top.

Dollansky will drive the No. 19 machine for the team which is owned by the NASCAR star, who has fielded the No.9 for Saldana for the last three seasons. Looking to ease the transition to a new team, Dollansky will be joined by his entire crew from this season, led by crew chief Mike Woodring.
Jason Meyers not only was fastest in both rounds of time trials for the event on Thursday night, but also swept every round of the inaugural ‘Breaking the VAULT’ dashes, defeating a total of nine drivers to claim the top prize.
Donny Schatz and Jason Meyers will continue their battle for the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series title to Heartland Park Topeka in Kansas on Saturday, October 25, for the second annual Thunder at the Heartland.
Just three drivers have competed in all three of the series stops at the track. Along with Saldana, 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser and two-time defending series champion Donny Schatz have raced at the track a trio of times.
Schatz, who began the night by setting fast time, won the first heat race, was victorious in the Crane Cams Dash and led all 30 laps of the A-Feature event to pick up $10,000. It was the 86th A-Feature triumph of his Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series career.

Taylor Ferns, of Shelby Township, Mich., became the first lady driver to win a USAC Kenyon Midget race, leading all 30 laps in her Time Auto Transport/Motor City Auto Transport Yamaha.

The $10,000 victory was the ninth of his career with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and his second this season aboard the Bass Pro Shops Maxim for Tony Stewart Racing.
