SOCIAL NOT-WORKING nexus Facebook was attacked with another phishing campaign Thursday that compromised lots of accounts to collect users' passwords.
Hackers broke into some Facebook members' accounts and sent emails to all their friends luring them to visit fake websites. The bogus sites were set up to look like the Facebook home page and attempted to trick visitors into entering their user-ids and passwords to 'log on' again.
The scammers' website domains included www.121.im, www.123.im and www.151.im. Facebook said it detected the attack and has deleted all links to the fake sites.
The purpose of the attack was thought to be to collect users' email addresses in order to later send them spam trying to extract money through various email scams.
Phishers also sell identities and passwords they gather in the online underworld. µ

Is there realy a "online underworld"?, if so how do i get there, it sounds so cool and spooky. something like out of a vampire movie, or some gangster film, if there is a online underworld, then who rules it? is it like a cartel or a king pin, or even better, how about a gang of geeks 8þ
but seriously, im a big fan of the net, and if there is an online underworld, i would like to visit it.
any ideas ;)
Good, I'm so glad the "Look at ME" generation is getting spammed and abused. They wanted the attention anyway ! Who else would have a facebook account except to say "Hey everyone LOOK AT ME ,You know you want me and want to be cool as me!" HAHAHAHA . Self Attention pukes get what they deserve. Don't you just love yourself. Self promotion and self EGO at it's best.
With so many losers bundled up in a single place, I guess that makes one hell of a feast for the phishers - I don't blame them, though (the phishers, of course).
