GLORIOR BELLI Pulls Out Of ABSU Tour - May 25, 2009
Paris, France-based black metallers GLORIOR BELLI have cancelled their participation in the previously announced "CIII" tour with U.S. black metal legends ABSU, Austin-based AVERSE SEFIRA and Los Angeles-based SOTHIS. According to a statement released by GLORIOR BELLI, the band "couldn't acquire the appropriate papers" in time for the tour and therefore had "no other choice but to pull out."

GLORIOR BELLI's third full-length album, "Meet Us Of The Southern Sign", will be released in North America on June 2 via Candlelight Records. The CD, which was recorded over a three-week period, will contain the following tracks:

01. Once In A Blood Red Moon
02. The Forbidden Words
03. Swamp That Shame
04. There Is But One Light
05. My True Essence
06. In Every Grief-Stricken Blues
07. Nox Illuminatio Mea
08. The Blazing Darkness (Of Luciferian Skies)
09. Fivefold Thought
10. Fires Of The Sitra Ahra
11. Meet Us at the Southern Sign

Check out the cover artwork below. A two-minute teaser video for the forthcoming CD is also available.

it was a band or their managements responsibilty to get paperwork sorted. But it's easier to blame the label. Fools.

No Glorior Belli, no Averse Sefira. I guess I won't be going now.

Where does it say anything about averse sefira not being there???

This totally sucks. My band Afterlight is opening up the Cleveland show on June 17th. Was excited to play with Glorior Belli. Good band.

Averse Sefira dropped from this tour a long time ago. Candlelight is bummed a Relapse band took their spot?

Or most likely: nobody on earth cared Averse Sefira were a part of this tour in the first place.

Glorior Belly. The French are best left to corpse paint their version of black metal in the form of miming.
