Show summary

Welcome to Headbangers Ball, the heshest, most gnarliest (yes, most gnarliest) horror show on air and online. Seriously, if the Brothers Grimm had laptops, this s#@%'d be on repeat. But all that's just talk. Let's do figures (don't be alarmed if your eyes start to bleed). You want Metallica? We got your Metallica. We got your Black Sabbath and your Slayer, your Mastodon and your Converge, your Pantera and your Killswitch Engage. Friends, neighbors, we even have your Goatwhore. Sorry, mom. This is heavy metal.

What, you must wonder, are such a hardened crew of brain exploding babycrushers doing together in the same room? Well, asky viewer, quite simply, they're having a ball. A Headbangers Ball. And you're invited. On top of ripping through the most absurdly, obscenely raw and perverse videos in the history of darkness, we also go one on one with the bands, drawing out the secrets of their sinister worlds.

Are these interviews conducted behind glass? No. Are there at least bars? 'Fraid not. We literally sit directly across from the scariest people who have ever lived and ask them questions like, "What did you have for breakfast?" We don't even flinch when they answer "eyeballs." We're that metal.

The metalest show in the world, which airs on about 400 channels has been on the air since 1987. Back then it was hosted by Kevin Seal, who was quickly replaced by Adam Curry, who was in turn replaced by Riki Rachtman. Moving from MTV to its current home on MTV2, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed-fame took the reigns and interviewed some of the most bad-ass bands around. Jamey may be gone now, but keep on the look out for special guests.

Why so many hosts? Why so many channels? Well mostly because there's a billion different kinds of metal. There's black metal, death metal, doom metal, folk metal, glam metal and goth metal. Of course there's also groove metal, industrial metal, metalcore and nu metal. And we'd be laughable amateurs with no blood in our mouths if we left out power metal, sludge metal, speed metal, stoner metal and thrash metal. And yeah, we got all of those on Headbangers Ball. What else you wanna throw at us?

You wanna meet Slipknot? No problem. You wanna cheat death with Deftones? Stick around. Are you OK with face blisters? Waking up screaming? Pants made of chains? Being on fire? Well, then this is your show. It's called Headbangers Ball. Share it with a friend.
