Looks like I wasn’t the only Chloe Lattanzi fan who felt cheated on last night’s Rock the Cradle finale. Our D-Listed blogger friend hints that Crosby Loggins’ win may have been part of a larger conspiracy (to revive Kenny Loggins’ career?), but is holding out hope that Chloe hits big in Lithuania. Watch her perform again, and keep the dream alive…

Crosby Loggins stole the Cradle crown tonight, right from under Jesse Blaze Snider’s dumbfounded face. Truth be told, it was a snoozy show after Chloe got kicked off. I will be replaying her sad and confused version of “I Honestly Love You” for many days to come.
Well, it’s been a blast y’all, but now it’s time to kick up my Sunday shoes and cut loose (i.e., redirect focus back to The Hills).
The final three competitors are in good spirits at today’s rehearsal. My set insider just sent me this pic of Crosby hamming it up after completing a perfect cartwheel. Who knew?

On last night’s Rock the Cradle, Chloe once again enlisted the help of a “dancer” to spice up her show…

And here’s what he looks like off stage, when he’s not tied up and getting his hair pulled. Hmmm, something still says “gimp” to me.

After tonight’s double elimination, three kids are left to perform in the finale next week. Who will win the Cradle crown? The vote is in your hands — take your pick between:
Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider
Strengths: Solid vocals, half-naked backflips, good hair
Weaknesses: Style doesn’t translate to the new millennium

Crosby Loggins, son of Kenny Loggins
Strengths: Plays an instrument, and well
Weaknesses: Doesn’t dance or remove clothing
![crosby.jpg](https://web.archive.org/web/20090704152430im_/http://remotecontrol.mtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/crosby.jpg)
Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of Olivia Newton-John
Strengths: Unique style and emotional performances
Weaknesses: “Unique style” and “emotional performances” sometimes cause discomfort

Tonight’s airing has been dubbed the “Do or Die Edition,” meaning the show’s almost over, folks. Next week a Cradle winner will be crowned. My prediction, based on tonight’s performances so far, is that it’s all gonna come down to a battle of the blondes: Jesse Blaze Snider vs. Lucy Walsh. As the “Untouchable,” Crosby’s automatically in, and I can only pray that Chloe makes it to the finale, but she’s got that whole dark mistress vibe working against her. Or for her? I forget what the judges are saying this week…
Regardless of what you think of her talent, ya gotta love little Chloe for letting us all inside — most recently, inside a teepee, next to her dad and a didgeridoo. Perhaps one of the sweetest/strangest father-daughter moments in history. Mark my words…

Even if Crosby Loggins doesn’t win over tonight’s Rock the Cradle crowd, he’s already earned the respect of the show’s crew. According to my set insider, while Crosby was rehearsing earlier today, a cameraman totally bit it after taking a wrong step right off the lip of the stage. A bunch of people laughed, but Crosby only offered words of encouragement, saying, “You’re doing a great job.” Aside from hurt pride, there was no permanent damage.
Lucy called in special forces for this Thursday’s upcoming Rock the Cradle competition. Dad, Joe Walsh, is spending the day giving her guidance and making sure she’s completely prepared for what might be her most important performance to date. See what the judges had to say about her last week.
