Whitbread Group is a UK hospitality company, which manages popular brands such as hotel chain Premier Inn and Costa Coffee. The firm employs over 33,000 people and serves nine million customers every month in its 1,800 outlets ac ross the UK.

Computing senior reporter Angelica Mari talked to Whitbread chief information officer (CIO) Ben Wishart about how he is developing his senior IT staff and his views on the skills issue.
