Karen Gillon, née Turnbull (born 18 August 1967, Edinburgh) is a Scottish Labour politician, and Member of the Scottish Parliament for Clydesdale constituency since 1999. She had previously served as personal assistant to Helen Liddell MP since 1997.

Gillon is currently spokesperson on rural development for Labour in the Scottish Parliament. She has campaigned vigorously for changes to the law in relation to corporate culpable homicide, following the death of four constituents in Larkhall, and won the Herald Campaigner of the Year in recognition of her work on this issue.[citation needed]
She is co-chairperson of the Cross Party Group on Malawi and works with civic society across Scotland and in the Clydesdale constituency to develop better links between the two countries. She is currently campaigning to secure better rail links between her constituency and Edinburgh.[citation needed]
