Health Medical Services

The medical administration provides primary health care in multiple ways:
- Medical examination of the patients and diagnosis of the diseases and determination of the best methods of treatment.
- To provide the necessary treatment for minor illnesses and common diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma.
- To transfer complex cases to the Ministry of Health hospitals in coordination with them.
- Follow-up of pregnancy in the gynecology clinic to check on the health of the mother and the fetus through tests and medical analysis by ultrasound device, and to give necessary advices to the mother during that period.
 - Emergency treatment for serious cases, and first aid services for patients at the time of access to the hospital.
- Carrying out all necessary medical tests required by the patient to appoint a doctor to diagnose the various diseases.
- Vaccination of children from infancy, according to the program of the Ministry of Health.
- The initial medical examination for students.
- Health supervision of the facilities of the university and the drinking water.
- Health supervision of workers in the restaurant and cafeteria.
- Organization of assemblies to caution people and health education.
- Medical examination to obtain driver"s license for university employees.
- The preparation of medical reports.

Other health services provided are as follows:
- The participation of a doctor and a nurse with the Ministry of Health during the period of Hajj/pilgrimage.
- Carrying out preventive vaccination campaigns, such as all scheduled vaccination of children and vaccination against cerebrospinal fever and influenza.
- Medical check up for newly admitted students to the university and post graduate students.
- Medical check for members of the teaching staffs (Saudis), and the party engaged by the university.
- Medical check up for newly appointed staffs in the university.
- Medical check up for workers and domestic servants and drivers of the university.
- Request of medical reports issued from outside the university.
- The attestation of medical reports issued from outside the university for less than (30) thirty days. 
- Participation in the activities of the deanship of students’ affairs such as: sports activities, academic activities and different awareness activities.
- To give transfers and queries to all bodies outside the university.
- Awareness participation through written medical articles in newspapers printed within the university.
- To contribute in the raising of health awareness and medical education for employees.
- Preventional vaccination against hepatitis B for those at high risk.
- Coordination with the medical board for the validation of medical reports issued for more than (30) thirty days
- Coordination with the directorate of Health Affairs on the organization of transfering patients to government hospitals.
- Coordination with the directorate of health affairs on the transfer of (international)students.
- Coordination with the directorate of health affairs on the transfer of dental cases.
