Department Of Text's Encyclopedia

The planning for formulating an encyclopedia that contains all the prophetic noble traditions (hadiths) has been done, that is by gathering all the books of narrated prophetic traditions and others, be it printed or manuscript, and entering it into a certain computer programs, after laying down the particular item and symbols. This plan aims at the follow:
•The creation of an encyclopedia on authentic hadeeth
The creation of an encyclopedia on weak hadeeth.
The creation of an encyclopedia on false hadeeth.
•The publication of a hadeeth encyclopedia on the way of dictionaries in alphabetical order.
•The publication of a hadeeth encyclopedia (parties) arrange by the names of the Companions of the Prophet, then by the name of narrators who reported on them , in the same way as the book (Tuhfatul Ashraaf) by Hafiz Almizzi, an the book (Ithaf Al Maharah) by Hafiz Bin Hajar Al Asaqalani.
•The publication of a text encyclopedia, classified by subject/motif (within the books and sections),that gather hadeeth  of the same topic, for example: prayer and so on.
• The publication of a text encyclopedia in alphabetical order of the beginning of the hadeeth.
• The creation of  a comprehensive indexed glossary of the noble Hadeeth terms.
• The creation of a lexicon on the difficult words of hadeeth.
Some of what has been achieved:
The work has started in a several preliminary axes of this encyclopedia which include:
1. Working in unified numeration of the hadiths in the prophetic tradition  books, by giving any hadith a particular number adhere to it in any place that the Hadith repeated in different Sources. 
The advantage of this is to facilitate the reaching in to the hadith in those sources when you want to search for it by the computer through the number referred to above.
The hadiths of several volumes has numbered but the work is not completed.
2. Extraction of the scholars decision about the hadiths mentioned in( Fathul Baari) by The hafiz Ibn Hajr, and the Book of Tamheed by Ibn Abdil Barr, and writing all those were written on the cards to utilize it in creating the encyclopedia when divided into three categories: authentic, weak, and fake.
3. Extracting the additional of other Muwatta"aat(consents)narrated from Imam malik  compare to the Muwatta narrated by the yahya Bin Yahya Al laithee in order to benefit from it in
the encyclopedia.
4. Working in the preparation of subjective directory and linking it closely to facilitate the inquisition about the hadeeth via its topic. This aims at:
Indicating the researchers to the locations of hadiths that circulates around the specific topic in the books of Sunnah
Thereafter, the working Team -after consultation with the administration of the center saw the importance of expanding the directory for its importance and need for the researchers and students to it, to include the whole Islamic sciences, which include; the Islamic Creed, The prophetic Tradition, Islamic Jurisprudence, Commentary … and others  to be ( directory) a comprehensive guide to every one wants to search for specific topic or any part of it, that is by making an arboretum for its all sections, it starts with the main topic, and then branched  out from it, the smaller branches, until they reach the tiny particles in the topic, and each part refers to its appropriate location whenever it is mentioned in the different books.
 The laudable efforts have been made in the course of that, the following are a summary of what has been done:
1. The general sections and main topics of the subjective directory was get to 14 (fourteen) sections, which includes almost all the sciences of Shariah.
2. Number of books that have been       copied its titles on the cards is: 160 (one hundred and sixty) books, while the number of volumes was get to 390 (three hundred and ninety) volumes and parts approximately.
3. Detail and describing these books as follow:
- 25 general books from the  fundamentals of the prophetic tradition"s books and its divans.
- 115 books in the Islamic Creed and the fundamentals of Islam.
- 18 books in the interpretation and  its Sciences.
4. The number of cards that copied the subject of the books to it, was get to about 160,000 (one hundred and sixty thousand cards). 
5. The number cards that have been entered to the computer is: 136,800 (one hundred & thirty-six thousand and eight hundred card), this is after it had been numbered manually.
6. The section of Islamic creed and fundamentals of Islam has been totally completed, that is by making the objective chart for this section, where the main titles of it, was get to: 1159 titles, and there are many mini titles and levels under it, and in some sections it was get to 14 (fourteen) levels.
7. The number of cards used in making the arbor (chart) of the Islamic creed is: about 22,000 (twenty-two thousand cards).
 8.  A link had Been made between these cards and the whole addresses of the chart, as it is simple to look for or call for all particulars relating to any address in the chart, indicating the origin and location – on volume and page - in this source. That is  through programs designed by the computer section.
9. A model has been applied to link the addresses of the substantive section of the chart of the creed section, and the Hadiths of  the book of  "faith" of the book of  "Sahih Imam Muslim".
10. In the Department of the Qur"anic interpretation and its Sciences: In addition to the unloading of the content of  eighteen books of the original books of interpretation. It has been extracted the witticism and benefits of the verses, in the following books:
* Tafsirul Qur"an Alaziim "The interpretation of the great Qur"an" by Ibn Kathir.
*Al-Jaami Li-ahkamil Qur"an by Qurtubi.
*Ma-Aalimu Tanzeel by  Baghawi.
*Jaami Al-Bayaan by Tabari in two volumes only.

This just a preparation to work the chart of the substantive section of interpretation just like the way it had been done with the Department of creed. This is what has been achieved and the work will be completed, by the will of Allah.
