  1. So how 'bout those Sunday TV Ratings! http://bit.ly/srybG
  2. Sigh. If there's behavior that even a *small* percentage of people thinks is abusive, I don't much want to be defending it.
  3. @scott_tobias I still think it's covering with an attempt to sit down behind her. There's no way to get position otherwise.
  4. @realityblurred There's no attempt to physically overpower her. He's doing exactly what he told her, in an encouraging way, he'd do.
  5. @realityblurred He says if she sits, he'll sit behind her. She sits. He tries to sit behind her. She says no and panics. He pulls back.
  6. @scott_tobias He puts his hands over hers. You're inferring the physical action of "prying" from "covering." She freaks. He pulls back.
  7. @realityblurred Are you serious? His feet are on either side of her. Look how they are when he pulls back (immediately). There's no pushing.
  8. @scott_tobias As I saw it, he was trying to join her on the slide, exactly as he'd told her he was going to do, not pry-and-push.
  9. @scott_tobias He had urged her to sit on the slide and he'd sit behind her. She sat on the slide, so he tried to follow, as he'd suggested.
  10. @scott_tobias He forced? In what episode? If Canaan wanted to force Mika down that slide, she'd have *gone* down that slide.
  11. Sunday TV Ratings: http://bit.ly/srybG FOX baseball tops NBC football
  12. What I saw was him steering her and cajoling her. As you would a child. And every time she freaked, he pulled back. Every time.
  13. I *hated* Canaan, but if he'd wanted to shove his weakling girlfriend down that slide, he could have. She freaked at very minimal contact.
  14. @Zap2itHanh He yelled at her angrily in the middle. He was supportive at the beginning and the end. And didn't YOU want to yell at her?
  15. @monkeyseeblog I'm not sure he grabbed her so much as she was uncontrollable and that gave the impression of grabbing.
  16. In the "Race" episode *I* watched, Canaan tried to help the frantic Mika, who flailed like a trout on a boat every time he touched her.
  17. Confused by all of the people who are interpreting Canaan's waterslide behavior w/Mika as abusive. That was *not* the episode I watched.
  18. Wasn't feeling the first half of tonight's "Mad Men." Turns out it was 30 minutes of lulling. *Dynamite* second half.
