By Michael David SmithPosted: 02/15/2010 04:45 PM ET

In terms of the quality of the fighters at this stage in their careers, there won't be a worse fight in the UFC this year than Elvis Sinosic vs. Chris Haseman at UFC 110 this weekend in Sydney, Australia.

Haseman is 40 years old, he's fought only once in the last five years, and he's 1-4 in his last five fights -- and yet he's got a better record than the 39-year-old Sinosic, who's 8-11-2 in his MMA career and hasn't won a fight in more than three years.

Haseman vs. Sinosic is not a UFC-quality fight.

Is UFC 110 a Must-Win Match for Keith Jardine?

By Mike ChiappettaPosted: 02/15/2010 12:40 PM ET

He's been a UFC staple since he first joined the company during season two of The Ultimate Fighter. He has wins over two former light-heavyweight champions -- Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell -- on his resume. But heading into his UFC 110 matchup with Ryan Bader, it's easy to wonder about Keith Jardine's standing in the UFC.

Jardine (15-6-1) has lost three of his last four bouts and won only twice since the start of 2007, with both of those victories coming via split decisions.

By Michael David SmithPosted: 02/15/2010 08:00 AM ET

Mirko Cro CropThe last time Mirko Cro Cop stepped into the Octagon, he was so dispirited by the way the younger, bigger and stronger Junior dos Santos that he quit in the third round and sounded afterward like a man who was ready to quit fighting for good.

But Cro Cop didn't become one of the greatest heavyweights in mixed martial arts history by quitting when things got tough. And as Cro Cop prepares for his return to MMA against Ben Rothwell at UFC 110, he says the hard work he's put in with new sparring partners and a revamped training program over the last few months is going to pay major dividends.

"To be a successful fighter now you have to go to a camp," Cro Cop said. "For all my career I (was) training at home, sparring with friends who were there to help me as a friend, doing me a favor. There were not A-class fighters. It was a mistake of mine to train like that, with friends, at home. It was a handicap I should not have given myself. In Croatia, we do not have big camps like in other countries, but I was not willing to go away to train."

More than a year and a half later, Lesnar is the UFC's biggest star. But Herring hasn't stepped into the Octagon a single time since then, and he said that's because the UFC, particularly UFC President Dana White, doesn't treat fighters like him right.
